 During holding of the FIFA 2006 World Cup between the 9th June and the 9th July 2006, two top national teams will be guests in Bergisch Gladbach:
South Korea (throughout the entire duration of the tournament) and
Brazil (from the 18th July 2006).
We in Bergisch Gladbach are very much looking forward to this and hope that the players and responsible persons will feel at home here and will be able to prepare for the matches calmly and in a beautiful environment.
This is because Bergisch Gladbach is traditionally a sporting town.
The away supporters from all over the world will also receive a very warm welcome in Bergisch Gladbach.
